Construction Layout with the Trimble Robotic Total Station

July 15, 2020
Building Information Modeling - “BIM” for short - is revolutionizing the construction industry thanks to extensive use of centrally-shared data and 3D modelling of modern developments. But, often, contractors still rely on printed plans, tape measures and plumb lines to translate those designs to the field. The next evolution in BIM is technology which brings the precision and detail of the 3D models to the field saving time, and money. Trimble has designed the Robotic Total Station to do exactly that. Our simple-to-use Trimble Field software allows Contractors to import 3D models from all the leading formats and then calculates all the key points that will need marking.
